Student Jam came out of putting students together that didn’t know how to play and developing great church musicians. We then started teaching at other churches, associations as well as with the 

state board of missions. 

Student Jam shows just how accessible playing instruments and leading worship is and it cultivates a culture/ philosophy of support, encouragement and saying it’s ok to make mistakes.

Hey, I’m Lance and Student Jam has been a development of the Holy Spirit working through me and the ministries that He’s placed me in. 

I firmly believe that God has blessed the church with all that it needs to have great musicians. They just might not know it yet. 

Prayerfully, this site will be a resource that God will use to bless His church beyond what I can do on my own.

Raised in the musical home of a pastor,  instruments and singing were a staple to our family. We sang 5 part harmony every time we got in the car. I played as many instruments as my band-directors would allow and I am a band-nerd for life. I have served as a Worship Pastor for over 20 years and my wife and I raise our kids the same way. We love the Lord, His church and we want to share the joy of leading/ playing music with the world.
